Notices

The trail runs north from the Birds Hill Park Ranch parking lot along the road between the berm at the Manitoba Horse Council Equestrian Centre and the Polo Field. It follows an existing carriage trail that is on the Birds Hill Park Trails map. The winter trail turns East and crosses the field North of the Polo Fields and enters the bush at the Northeast corner of the field. The trail, through the bush, goes East through some of the old spruce nurseries that are in the park. It turns South and crosses the hydro line that comes in off Hwy #206 that services the camping area on the East side of the park. The trail goes South and ends up at the Northwest corner of the field at the East gate. In this field, the trail makes a loop and goes back into the bush following an existing equestrian trail North back across the hydro line and connects up again with the carriage trail heading West.

The trail is clearly marked with white/black and pink/black signs for identification. The trail is easily accessible from the parking lot at Birds Hill Park Ranch, the Hydro Line Trail off Hwy #206, and from the field at the East gate of Birds Hill Provincial Park.

Directions

The trail is easily accessible from the parking lot at Birds Hill Park Ranch, the Hydro Line Trail off Hwy #206, and from the field at the East gate of Birds Hill Provincial Park.
