Two MHC members are volunteering for the Canadian Thoroughbred Horse
Society (MB chapter) and the Horsemen's Protective and Benevolent
Association at the Assiniboia Downs racetrack to find private homes for
recently retired racehorses.

Ex-racehorses can make excellent pleasure horses, companions, and successful
peformance horses once re-trained. Take a look at the website here

Sport for Life Centre.
