> Updated Capri Insurance Frequently Asked Questions for individual members, commercial equine enterprises, equine professionals (but please note that Manitoba Provincial Guidelines override any insurance provider's position on coaching).
> Manitoba is undergoing a structured re-opening. Horse riding falls under the category of outdoor recreational businesses and therefore can reopen for one-on-one lessons, day camps etc. Organized amateur sport is not yet in the reopening schedule. Clinics could currently fall into the description of "Group lessons". Please note that even if a national equine association allows certain activities, if the provincial situation is otherwise you must follow the provincial lead.
All businesses and venues will be required to continue following physical distancing and stringent cleaning practices to protect both employees and customers. Changes in reopening schedules are at https://www.gov.mb.ca/covid19/restoring/approach.html
If you wish to ask specific questions about the reopening and how it affects your business, we encourage you to check out the FAQs and submit your query at https://engagemb.ca/covid19-csp
> If you own a faility, MHC recommends checking this Return to Business Operations Framework. The link includes a Self-Declaration sign-in sheet for a facility, valuable in case contact tracing needs to be conducted.
Please note that provincial guidelines are being amended regularly as the province opens up so we recommend that you look to the gov.mb.ca website link above if you are unsure.
We wish everyone a safe passage through these troubling times, and welcome progress in whatever baby steps are possible.
