MHC wants to encourage everyone participating in a clinic to check your clinicians credentials. This calendar includes events sponsored by MHC as well as those run independently in order to give our members a comprehensive look at events across the province.

June 1, 2024: CCHA Schooling show & Clinic

Our Schooling Show is a clinic with Taylor Douglas - an accomplished Cowhorse competitor, trainer and judge. Participants get a chance to work cattle with Taylor and then attempt the Cowhorse events as they would in a “real” show, but instead of points and prizes they will receive feedback and coaching.

This event is great for anyone interested in trying Cowhorse! It’s also great to come a watch and learn. Several veteran members will be here to help coach, demonstrate and answer questions.

Although we fill up fast…. Coming to watch is a great way to learn about what’s involved in the events and how to get your horse ready. You can meet our club members and ask any questions you may have. No cost to come if you are not riding!
