EC EVENTING RULE CHANGE
Eventers please take note:
The Eventing Committee has added a significant rule to the Eventing rulebook around Compulsory Retirement for short format competition at EV100 and above:
Section D, Article D317.4
4. Compulsory Retirement For short format competitions at the EV100 and above (when the jumping test is before the cross country test). An athlete incurring 20 or more obstacle penalties during the jumping test will not be authorized to start in the cross country test and will be automatically eliminated from the competition.
