| Introduction: | The annual Equine Industry Symposium, hosted by the University of Guelph’s Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management - Equine Management degree program, returns this year for its 7th edition on November 21 – 23, 2022. This year’s theme, Horses in Human Health and Learning, featuring Nina Ekholm Fry from the University of Denver and five guest speakers, will focus on the roles horses have when part of human services.
This year’s Symposium aims to educate horse enthusiasts, human service providers and anyone with an interest in the power of horses to improve people’s everyday lives. Attendees will gain an understanding of different types of therapies and learning services where horses are included. |
