IMPORTANT: Horses Traveling in/through Saskatchewan Require Livestock Manifest
Livestock Manifest - don't leave home without it!
As of January 1, 2025, when you are transporting horses through Saskatchewan for an event, show or sale, chances are you will be stopped by officials and required to provide your manifest. Manifests provide details of the livestock being transported and the conveyance (vehicle and trailer) with which they are being transported. A manifest is required when transporting livestock:
- within Saskatchewan when an inspection is not necessary;
- to a sale; or
- to an inspection site out of the province where they will be inspected on arrival.
Print several copies of the manifest provided here and stock your vehicle with them. A manifest is required every time you transport your horse(s).
